Opening the X52 settings does not make a difference with the 2 previously mentioned problems.Ĭould anyone possibly recommend me a solution?ĮDIT: I've found a solution to the problem. I know it's a minor thing, but I'm the kind of person who likes to make as much use of everything on the joystick before setting shift functions.Īlso, the pinky switch only seems to work if I have the X52's settings window under the classic Windows control panel open while I play, it's not the biggest problem but it's slightly annoying having to open it up every time I want to play Elite dangerous (I use the pinky switch as a shift key for the different menus in the cockpit. I've also made sure to set the profile before I launch the game. I've also tried setting these keys to 'Unprogrammed' as recommended by some people, but that doesn't appear to work either. I've installed the logitech HOTAS configuration software, I've tried binding the scroll wheel to trigger a macro (CTRL+SHIFT+N) and binding the key combination in-game, but that doesn't seem to work either. I seem to have run into a few small problem with it though - some controls, like the ministick and the scroll wheel just won't register in game no matter what I do. It was a fraction of the usual price and being an avid E:D player I just couldn't pass it up.

Recently I bought a second-hand Saitek X52 HOTAS setup from a local 2nd hand store. I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with a small problem with my Saitek X52 joystick?
