With guitar hero being around for so long, accomplishments from back in like the early-mid 2000’s aren’t showing up anymore. The YouTube algorithm is going to show you the top content from that category for the current time period. Not everyone likes playing overcharts of songs just for the fact it has more notes than it should. So yeah, it's kinda refreshing to hear that not everyone in this community has a damn boner for all things Souless and other super massively difficult songs that if you can't FC while blindfolded and playing with your toes with note shuffle on, then it makes you a shit player. But then I go back to an OG classic chart and find some of that confidence again. However, it doesn't help that when I come across a song that shouldn't be as difficult as it is and makes me feel like an inferior player. I honestly play CH for an escape from my own mental health issues, and I just play it for fun. Kinda makes me thankful there are some custom charters out there who chart in full difficulties, across many different genres.
Even some of the metal songs I love are such a chore to play in CH and it makes me like the songs less. They're alright to listen to but I honestly detest playing any of their songs in CH. Only strumming the strum bar while trying to balance pressing the frets really screws with the mind.Īlso, I've never been the biggest fan of all things Dragonforce. Even in the OG GH games, open Bass note/beginner notes (that are essentially opens in CH) could be played while strumming and holding down any button or just strumming.not the case in Clone Hero.
I'm just getting to where I can hit open notes without problem but when I came back to Clone Hero about 3 years ago from taking a long break from playing GH/RB related stuff, it was a bit jarring to try and balance open strumming with hitting buttons. I'm still hovering within Hard and scratching the surface of Expert.
